Diamond Cut Silk

These silks have a diamond shape, which means that the silk is made with less fabric than a normal square silk. For the audience the silk will look normal, but the “secret” shape gives the magician an advantage in some effects. The Metalwriting Diamond Silk is designed to work smoothly with the El Duco’s Swedish Reel. The length of the silk is 95cm (38″) which is the same length as the diagonal of a 60×60 cm silk (24″x24″). The diamond cut silk will move very smoothly when preforming the silk through microphone stand and the Serpent silk. The silks are available in red or white.

The material in the Metalwriting silks are very light weight. They are designed to work with the Swedish reel and thanks to the size, they will be very visual on stage. The choice of material gives you a bonus effect, the silk fits into a larger dye tube. If you perform the color changing silks, the larger sized silks will make the illusion even stronger.
